Hosted · Self-Hosted

The same TIYlab, on the infrastructure you choose

Hosted and Self-Hosted are two execution modes of the same DEX-only product. They change neither strategies nor TIYlab pricing: $4/month, $19/6 months or $29/12 months. A Self-Hosted VPS is paid separately by the customer to its provider.

Hosted by TIYlab

TIYlab installs, monitors, backs up and updates the Runtime on its infrastructure. The customer authorizes the DEX Agent after payment and manages no server.

Self-Hosted

The customer provides a compatible Ubuntu VPS, protects root access, installs signed TIYlab releases and keeps the DEX Agent secret locally. TIYlab never receives that secret.

Shared by both modes

The same logical Runtime, three strategies, features, TIYlab subscription and safeguards. Only one Runtime may execute for one DEX account at any time.

Self-Hosted lifecycle

Prerequisites

Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04 VPS, administrator access, outbound HTTPS, Hyperliquid or Aster, the applicable minimum capital and the ability to administer a Linux server.

Installation and registration

After payment, download the signed release and SHA-256 from the private journey. The installer verifies the archive, creates the isolated service and a local PostgreSQL database. The one-time registration token is read from a root-owned 0600 file and then deleted.

Local DEX authorization

The Agent is configured from the VPS. Its secret remains in encrypted local storage and is never pasted into Telegram or the central dashboard.

Health and activation

The Runtime sends signed heartbeats to the Control Plane. Activation stays blocked until version, configuration, reconciliation, DEX authorization and the single-executor fence are validated.

Updates and rollback

Every release is digest-verified. Updating backs up state, applies only allowlisted migrations and then starts the new version. If it fails, the previous release link and services are restored.

Backup and uninstall

Back up the local database and encrypted identity files outside the VPS as described in the private guide. Uninstalling starts with a controlled Runtime stop and Agent revocation; it does not implicitly close positions.

Migration to Hosted

Migration drains in-flight actions, reconciles state, rotates the DEX authorization and activates Hosted only after proof that the old Runtime can no longer execute. Dual operation is never accepted.

Incidents and local controls

If the Control Plane is unavailable, the Runtime keeps its local safeguards and the local CLI provides status, stop, close, selldca, emergency and reconcile. If the VPS is offline, no new action can be sent: inspect positions directly on the DEX, then restore or migrate the Runtime. If the Agent is revoked, execution is blocked until a new authorization and successful reconciliation.

Sell commands are irreversible once executed. Use them only after reviewing their scope. Self-Hosted removes no market, DEX, smart-contract, liquidation, wallet, server or network risk.
